Hi! I’m Erin and I have been a solo traveler since the end of my 18 year marriage in 2023. That summer, I spent two weeks in France, Italy, Turkey and Greece. That trip turned into a healing journey, completely changing my life. In the past 2 years, I have gone from being a self-conscious, indecisive, jumpy ball of anxiety to a confident, joyful adventurer who loves finding peace and connection in new locations. I love my life and laugh a lot.
I like to balance sight-seeing with what I call “steeping” in the location – sitting, people watching, listening, and being mindful – allowing all my senses to experience a new place.
Maybe I’ll start up a conversation with someone; maybe I won’t talk to anyone for two days.

In the last two years, I have solo traveled to France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Puerto Rico. When they can join me, I bring my three amazing kids who are aged 15, 17, and 20.
I love writing, words, pens, bookstores, coffee, wine, cozy blankets, and downtime. Sometimes I introvert too hard and forget how to talk to people and I end up awkward and weird.
I decided not to make any New Year’s resolutions in 2025 – I don’t want to improve, I’m done trying to change or fix myself. I want to get stranger, laugh more, and enjoy lots of chocolate cake with red wine. I’ll extend a very metaphorical extra fork to you and maybe you’ll want to try some of my soft solo travel, too.
